Candidates who have cleared the HSC or equivalent exam with a minimum passing grade from any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce) will be considered eligible for admission.

Provisional admission will only be confirmed after clearing BVSP CET-2023.

It is mandatory for all Candidates to appear for

• BVSP CET (Common Entrance Test) Total-100 Marks
• Personal Interview (50 Marks) & Evaluation of Student Portfolio (50 Marks)
• Commencement of Course: - Tuesday, 1st August 2023.

About the Course:

• Our 3-year B.A. Commercial Photography is our flagship course and aims at developing professional photographers who embody the roles of both an artist and a communicator.
• The course offers you a learning environment that engages intellectual and creative thinking and combines technical knowledge with artistic vision to help produce distinctive work.
• The course takes a comprehensive overview of the field of photography and familiarizes the students with the aspects of the history of art, photography, and cinema.
• The course stresses on hands-on practice and simulates studio-working environments for students similar to what they will find in the industry.

• This 3 Year Degree is crafted to transform students into Cinematographers via a hands-on, professional environment.
• The course provides a unique setting that imparts both the creative vision and technical proficiency necessary to excel as a cinematographer. You will follow a rigorous course of classroom study, self-directed projects, instructor-led workshops, and school-facilitated collaboration with industry experts across different disciplines.
• On graduating, you will be proficient with many of the state-of-the-art camera systems used by professional cinematographers and will also be able to confidently supervise the creation of sophisticated lighting schemes.
• Most importantly, you will be able to effectively harness all the tools of cinema to tell meaningful stories, making you an asset to the industry.

The Exposure:

The courses will expose you to art history; contemporary art, digital & analogue still photography, color theory, visual storytelling, lighting for stills & film, multi-format cinematography and much more. You will follow a rigorous course of classroom study, self-directed projects, instructor-led workshops, and school-facilitated collaboration with industry constituents across different disciplines. Providing students with a context, awareness, and understanding of not only the discipline of Cinematography but also an overview of other integral departments of filmmaking like, Story, Script, Screenplay, Direction, Sound, Art Direction, Editing, and Post Production etc.
